Recruited lets athletes, parents, and agents connect a Gmail account so that recruiting emails to college coaches are sent from their own address. When you connect Gmail, Recruited requests only the following Google permissions:
Recruited does not read, search, or store the contents of your inbox, and does not see replies you receive. We store your Google account identifier, your Gmail address, the permissions you granted, and an encrypted refresh token that allows us to send email when you ask us to.
We use Google user data only to provide the email sending feature you enabled. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not transfer it to data brokers or other third parties, do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Recruited personnel do not read Google user data unless you give us explicit permission (for example, to resolve a support request), it is needed for security purposes, or it is required by law.
Recruited's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data, including sensitive data such as Google user data:
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use these safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
We store your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the services you requested. When the retention period for a type of data ends, we delete or anonymize it.
Google user data is kept only while your Gmail connection is active. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from your account settings in Recruited. When you disconnect, we revoke our access with Google and immediately delete the stored refresh token, Google account identifier, and Gmail address from our systems. You can also remove Recruited's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions; Recruited will then no longer be able to send email on your behalf.
You may request deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it, including any Google user data, by emailing legal@recruited.pro. We will complete the request within 30 days, except for information we must keep to comply with legal obligations. Emails you already sent to coaches remain in your Gmail Sent folder and in the recipients' inboxes, which Recruited does not control.
